“ Our visit Friday night was a return from about 10 days earlier where my wife and I had lunch. Little Nepal is quite a find for us. The food was absolutely delicious and served unobtrusively. We had veggie samosas, and the most wonderful sweet and sour cauliflower dish. We split the arugula fig salad and then were served chicken tikka masala and the pistachio chicken korma which was superb while our son from New York had the pistachio lamb curry which he said was out of this world. Wonderful ambiance and John (sp?) the owner is very sweet and an excellent chef! The prices are very reasonable and certainly less than other Indian restaurants but the cuisine was excellent! ”
“ Absolutely love this spot and service. I will only say I wish they were consistent. Sometimes they offer refill for chai but another time they charged me for two chai's and when we ordered one garlic naan we were also charged for two orders. ”
“ Such a little gem in the Bernal Heights area. We love the bright colors outside and inside. Our server was very sweet. The food was delicious- not your standard Indian restaurant fare. I recommend getting the lunch special. Although it's $25 it is absolutely worth it. Our party of 3 orders 2 of them and still have leftovers. It includes: a wonderful salad, naan, papadam. choice of rice and 2 curry dishes. The sauces for dipping were sensational- we especially loved (and devoured) the green curry (mint/cilantro). ”
“ Delicious food. The best pistachio lamb korma. Very friendly and courteous staff, cozy ambiance. My new go to place!! ”
“ So delicious food , Fabulous service, beautiful decorations love it .i would like to suggest to visit at once this place and enjoy the every food items ”
“ I came here because I wanted to try a new Indian restaurant and loved the food here! We had the Garlic naan, pistachio chicken, coconut shrimp, and rice. Everything was solid, and the coconut shrimp was definitely the standout dish. The restaurant is cute, and the service was great. My only complaint was that the music was a bit slow and depressing lol. ”
“ Delightful and delicious neighborhood gem! Ambiance is wonderful - cozy, vibrant colors, enjoyable music and not too loud. Every dish we ordered (10 dishes total!) was incredible - fresh, bold flavors that blew us away. The momos melted in our mouths and the Indian dishes were fantastic! I am a vegetarian and had tons of options. My 15 year old daughter loved the dishes too. The staff was warm, welcoming, accommodating. We made reservation in advance - for a 5 person birthday party - and it was easily arranged. We will definitely be returning here for dine in and take out. ”
“ I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. This is definitely a hidden gem in Bernal Heights! I ordered some small appetizers: the arugula fig salad and the mango chicken. Both were incredibly delicious. The salad was lightly topped with creamy goat cheese, crunchy walnuts, and sweet figs that perfectly balanced the bitterness of the arugula. The tender chicken was smothered in a sweet and tangy mango sauce. The servers were so nice and helpful, answering all of my questions patiently! The restaurant is also really pretty with each corner decorated in beautiful patterns and hanging trinkets. Great place. ”
“ Little Nepal has been closed for years so I was so excited when I saw renovations happening and now it's finally open! The restaurant has cute and comfy decor that welcomes you inside. Service was prompt; we started off with mango lassis which were so delicious I was scraping the sides of the glass for more! We ordered family style, one main dish per person with naan and rice and one salad. The portions looked small at first but we were pleasantly full by the end of our meal. The stand outs were the goat curry, pistachio lamb korma, lemon rice, and garlic naan. I wasn't sure what to expect with the lemon rice but it was delicious! I think that the carb sides are so important but frequently they turn out disappointing so I really appreciated that they took such care with the rice and naan options. The garlic naan was some of the best I've had recently! Loved the subtle crunch of the pistachios in the korma. So glad this local spot has reopened and I'll be back soon! ”
